OUTREACH & MISSION

In keeping with the covenant of the Sanbornton Congregational Church: "for the worship of God and the welfare of all" our Board of Outreach works to help others in many areas of need and in times of disaster. We use our time, talents and money for the benefit of others locally, nationally, and internationally.

  • Contribute to area food pantries; especially the First Fruits Pantry in Sanbornton in partnership with First and Mountain View Baptist Churches

  • Coordinate the "Got Lunch" Sanbornton program that delivers healthy groceries 

  • Participate in mission trips to the Maine seacoast

  • Participate through the Ukama Partnership with the Checheche Church in Zimbabwe

  • Send used eyeglasses and needed supplies to Zimbabwe 

  • Collected hygiene bags for Church World Service

  • Donate Annually to Church World Service, along with UCC Wider Church contribution and three UCC Special Offerings: Neighbors in Need, The Christmas Fund, and One Great Hour of Sharing. 

  • Support local, domestic, and international charities as needs arise

  • Prepare and send "gift boxes" to soldiers from our area of New Hampshire that are stationed overseas
